Bangladesh

Valid’s work in Bangladesh has included:

• Review of the status of nutritional rehabilitation activities and support the roll-out of Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) in-country.
• Establishing a Growth Monitoring programme.
• Implementing a pilot Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC) programme in Khulna City Corporation.
• Conducting a study in Chittagong to assess the efficacy of a supplementary feeding intervention to address chronic malnutrition as defined by weight for age criteria.
• Producing a prototype web platform that could help Government and Non-Governmental partners better use data to support programme planning and decision making for nutrition.
