Valid International's involvement in Sudan goes back to 2002. Since then, Valid has worked extensively in areas across both North and South Sudan, including Greater Darfur. Valid?s initial support of Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC) programmes in South Sudan provided essential data to demonstrate the feasibility and high impact of the CTC model.

Supporting Action Contre la Faim (ACF) in the evaluation of their community mobilisation strategy and the development of a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) for their programmes in North and South Darfur.

Supporting UNHCR in the implementation of Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC) in selected refugee camps in eastern Sudan.

Supporting FANTA/UNICEF/WFP in the Interagency Review of Selective Feeding Programmes in the Darfur Region.

Supporting Action Contre la Faim (ACF) in the evaluation of their Nutritional Intervention in North Darfur (2004-2007).

Supporting World Vision in the implementation of a Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC) programme in Thiet, South Sudan.

Supporting Tearfund in the review of their South and Western Darfur Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC) programmes.
