Valid's involvement in Kenya is comparatively recent but, as CTC is mainstreamed and as the value of RUFs are more widely recognised, Valid is positioning itself to become much more involved in the country.

Supporting WFP in the review of their Supplementary Feeding Programmes in-country.
Supporting World Vision in the implementation of a Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC) in Turkana, Northern Kenya (ongoing).
Collaboration with MSF-F in operational research into the use of RUTF for HIV-positive adults (ongoing).
2007-2009
Supporting Concern Worldwide/Lea Toto to improve the identification and management of acute malnutrition.
2006
Supporting Tearfund in evaluating the performance of their Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC) programme in Marsabit District, Northern Kenya.
Supporting Merlin in evaluating their Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC) programme & training of field staff on the Centric Systematic Area Sampling (CSAS) technique.
