Valid has had some involvement in the nutrition sector in Indonesia since 2003 and remains concerned about the nutrition situation in the country.

As part of a larger project working with UNICEF in several countries throughout Asia, Valid worked with UNICEF to provide technical support to existing CMAM interventions and to introduce new approaches to various in country agencies. Evaluations of existing CMAM programmes were also carried out.

Supporting CARE in the incorporation of Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC) into their existing Infant and Young Child Feeding (ICYF) programme in West Timor.
