In Afghanistan, Valid has been involved in the following:

  • Review of national CMAM guidelines
  • Set up, implementation and evaluation of CTC (CMAM) programmes
  • SQUEAC coverage surveys
  • Review of the status of nutritional rehabilitation activities and supporting the roll-out of Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) in-country
  • Carrying out nutritional anthropometric surveys, food security surveys, agriculture productivity assessments (modified VAM method) and community assessment
